Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ROPA application ("Service") provided by GDPR Labs ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of the organisation you represent to use the Service.
2. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@gdpr-labs.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law;
- upload, transmit, or store data you do not have the right to process;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or create derivative works of the Service;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
4. Data you submit
You retain all ownership of the data you enter into the Service. By submitting data you grant us the limited right to process it solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties except as set out in our Privacy Policy.
5. Intellectual property
The Service and all associated software, design, and documentation are the exclusive property of GDPR Labs and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GDPR Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona.
